There are some scratches to the lid which can be polished and some wear to the top of the plinth where the lid rests.

This is a cost-effective specification which offers significant performance over what would be deemed as standard for this level.

The Akito has been fully rebuilt with new bearings by John Nilsen of Audio Origami fame. As such, it is in better than new condition in terms of performance. A brand new Minos PSU from Valhalla Electronics has also been fitted to benefit the next owner with both 33 and 45rpm.

There are many cartridges that would work so well on this level of LP12 so if there is something specific you have in mind, we can supply and fit it for you. Alternatively, we can fit a cartridge you may already have, free of charge.
