We’ve got some news for you.

We are very proud to announce that Liquid Audio is now the newest dealer of the Audio Note (UK) brand. We have long been fans of Audio Note and the hi-fi they create, so to be in a position to represent them and provide their systems is something so very special to us.

I first heard them in a client’s two-channel system, many moons ago when installing a multi-channel system at his home. I was immediately hooked by the sound. The level of realism and accuracy was something I’d not previously experienced and in later years, would only come close to when listening to systems with such significant price tags, they were out of the reach of the vast majority of people.

Fast forward to the Staverton Hi-Fi show in October 2022 and I had the opportunity to listen to a vinyl and CD front-end system in their main room which absolutely stunned me.

The AN ‘house sound’ was still present, but the realism and dynamism was consistently at such a high level. What impressed me even more was that there was no staging of ‘audiophile’ recordings which are typical in these scenarios. Everything was game with an open invite to the floor to use whatever media they had to listen – even CDRs! It all sounded so impressive.

I spent over an hour in there (which is an age for a Hi-Fi show terms) and everything I heard had the same immediacy, engagement and involvement and one other crucial element. It was fun. A huge amount of fun.

I was reminded of when I first seriously got into music and the feeling of discovering so much great music that really connected with me. Most of us experience that but we eventually get used to it, and the impact diminishes. It’s human nature.

The rediscovery of music and hearing something so familiar, but in a completely new light is one of the most compelling aspects of Audio Note components and systems. It has to be heard to be appreciated.
