Why didn’t I do this, before?
After an exceptionally busy February and March which took us to North Yorkshire and the South Coast and plenty of places in between (seriously, thank you to all of our clients who put us in that position) we’re catching up on a few things.
We love working with everyone, but there is a particular enjoyment in getting people introduced to the LP12 for the first time. They’ve admired from afar, read about the mystique and reverence for the turntable and will have consumed reams of information from other owners who have waxed lyrical about their experiences and the vast amount of differing specifications.
All that can be a significant obstacle in trying to understand what they want or could achieve from their own turntable which is why our guidance is so valuable. Part of that guidance is advising on what to expect by opting for a certain specification but as with most things in life, you will only truly appreciate it once you’ve experienced it for yourself.
In this time of reflection, one clear message from the last two months of work is the impact it has on them. Once they have their new turntable in place and the stylus drops for the first time, their physical reactions are priceless and one prevailing comment came from three individual clients; ‘Why did I wait so long to get one - why didn’t I do this before?’ My response is always the same. All that matters is that you are here, now. Enjoy yourself.
